About Jiva Maya

Creating iconic documentaries

Formed in 2020, Jiva Maya will produce up to four new programmes per year, creating not only an unrivaled library of compelling content but also an outstanding team of individuals with the ambition to become the next production powerhouse in this genre.

Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey

Manish was the writer and primary force behind the BAFTA-winning Senna – a movie that most industry pundits would agree took the sports documentary genre to a whole new level, transporting it not only from the small screen and into the cinema but also catapulting it into the mainstream audience arena.

After the success of Senna, Manish went on to write, produce and direct, Grand Prix Driver for Amazon and the highly emotive Heroes for The Motorsport Network.

His passion for motor sports – in particular Formula One – is unrivaled and making the definitive history on-screen with the very man who made it all happen is a lifelong ambition.

Chris has launched entertainment services in the UK, Africa, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East and was integral to the creation of four CBS channels in the UK. In his various roles, Chris has produced over a hundred non-fiction programmes and has an intimate knowledge of both the production process and what it takes to engage an audience.
